3 Tools All Businesses Need

I thought I'd give you three tools today that I think all businesses need to have a version of

And these three tools are. ..

1

First one is a project management tool.

We're all we all have projects to do and a good project management tool will make sure you get the right thing done at the right time, in the right way...

, which will not only be efficient but save you money in the long run.

The two are recommended for that. One of the two, we've used Asana in the past.

We now use Trello.

They're both really good tools.

They both have a free version, so you can try them out for quite a long time without having to pay anything.

So that's a really good, a good way of starting out.

2

The second one is a communication tool internally, or even internally and externally.

And the one I have to recommend here is Slack.

We used to use Skype for a long time, and we're now moving to Slack because Slack is able to silo it's conversations so that we have one topic and then the relevant people on that conversation get involved.

Not everyone gets to see everything which is overwhelming and wasteful of time.

So Slack is a really good one to use or Skype.

If you want to go to Slack, again, a free version is available.

3

And the third one is really managing passwords.

If you have. 10/20 digit passwords like we have, then you probably want to manage them with, with an app like LastPass.

I can't give an alternative for that, because I haven't used another one before, but there are probably some really good ones out there.

But if you haven't used one before, try LastPass.

It's a really good way.

You can also share passwords with your team very securely.

And I would recommend that to you.

So those are three, one for projects, one for communication, and one for managing security and passwords.

All three things,I think you will agree, are really important for a business.

Hopefully, that helps.

Let me know how you go or which ones are your favourites?

This is Gordon wishing you well.

Bye-bye.
