So I've been asked by people if, if they are able to claim the 80% of phone log, and the answer is yes, if they, if they can be shown to be fell alone and unable to work because there's no business and there's no. There's nothing they can do from home. So if that's the case, they can claim the 80% now that is based on announcements we've had in.
Now the government is looking at anti avoidance as part of this whole process because they'll always be part of our community. Who will go look, you know, how can we take massive advantage of this? I've already heard some way on the grapevine that somebody wants to increase their salary to, you know, 25,000 so they can take, take advantage of the.
Of the 80% and get the maximum allows it, you know, look, please, it's unlikely to succeed. It's very unlikely to succeed. And the country right now needs its money to support people in other ways. Well, let's hope that they bring proper support for businesses in the freelance market. Self employed, it goes.
They've got nothing in the moment. And at best, they're going to get a couple of weeks of statue sick pay, a few more weeks of salary, sick pay. Not very much at all, is it? So, how it's going to operate, we have no idea right now, but the best bet you have is calling 'em for statuary. Sick pay is calling the inland revenue as HMRC and just saying you'd like to claim for statue, sick pay from the beginning.
You build a claim your 90 pounds a week or something for that. If you're looking to claim the 80% the methodology of how we do that. Not set yet, hopefully in the next week or two, but it's going to be through the is going to be through the site. Okay. So just be aware of that. And I will speak to you soon.
So in the meantime, mentioning to everyone to, let me just put this on on do not disturb. I'm mentioned to everyone to please observe social distancing if you can. And if it doesn't hurt you too much. Observed self isolation because we just want to save lives. Yeah. There's not all, it's not often we can say we are saving lives, but here by not going out, by not circulating, by not, this virus is so contagious.
You know, people are gay. We're going to parks and pubs and you know, it's not about supporting your local. PO, you know, your local establishment, that's really nice. But when you're putting somebody else's life at risk by doing that, you know, I don't think that's right. I'm calling it out. If you don't like it though, want me to?
Don't listen to me, but I'm telling you what I believe is right and I think we need to save nurses lives. We need to say doctors lives. We need to save our neighbor's life. And we can do that by just self isolating. Stop spreading. This thing is so easily contaminated, you know, we can, we can. It's so contagious that you could just save lives by not, you might not circulating it unless it's absolutely necessary.
All right. This is golden. Wishing you well. Take care of yourself. Please stay coven free, self isolate, and you're good to go. Take care of. We'll be in touch. Keep an eye on the videos we send out and go, there will be something on it, on SSP and 80% regardless of who you are. As soon as it becomes available, I will tell you.
Take care. Bye bye.
