šŸ“‹ Reflecting on my week… August 5th

> šŸ† Wins:

I signed up a new client this week, who needed help dealing with the paperwork in his business. I hate paperwork as much as virtually all business, so I designed a system for my business to help me get it done, without touching it. Then others asked how I do it, and they asked me to do the same for them…a new business was born.

Could you do the same, using your expertise?

> šŸ˜“ Challenges:

One of my team let me down this week. We have a process for this.. 2 yellow cards and then a red card! I do not rush the team, but do expect they follow our documented systems. This person had the 2 yellow cards, and this was Red Card time.

I hate this part of the job.

However I learned many years ago, it is very difficult to change someone attitude. They affect other team members and can affect the client experience if not controlled.

So the team member is now looking for another job, with someone who will tolerate a poor attitude.

Who or what are you tolerating in your business?

> šŸ“š Learnings:

This week I learned a lot… so let me share the best bit…

I can achieve more when I theme my week and plan what I’m doing in advance, very specifically.

My coach has now asked me to create specific tasks in detail that last a maximum of 50 minutes. It has meant I have got more done, I feel better about what I’m doing, and I can see real progress.

The tasks are linked to my monthly plan, which is linked to my quarterly plan, which is linked to my annual plan. This process has taken away overwhelm, has removed the feeling of a mountain to climb, and made me feel far more positive about getting important work done every day.

> ā³ Projects

I will now be incorporating this into The Profit Propeller Program, and rolling it out to clients in the programme.

I will also create a training module to cover this aspect of getting things done. It is specifically geared towards business owners and entrepreneurs, who have real trouble using digital tools and planning processes. Those just don’t work for them.

If you would like to be on the waiting list for the pre-launch of the ā€œgetting things done-the specific course for business ownersā€, let me know.
